Exactly what a squaddie would need!
The sewing kit comes in a sturdy, camo’ed 1000 denier cordura case with everything secured with either velcro (hook and loop) or an elastic strap. Although the advert says that the black thread is no longer issued, mine came with it anyway. I also had dark brown, tan and dark green (same colour as your webbing straps!). If you’re trying to repair your issue kit or just leaving home for the first time, this is the kit for you. Compact but full of everything you need.

Gute Verarbeitung und Design.Schön wäre es aber noch gewesen wenn es eine Einstecktasche gegeben hätte zb im Doppelfutter was diese Tool definitiv nicht braucht da der Stoff doch sehr robust ist.Aber läßt sich bei Langeweile nacharbeiten.Was nähmlich in dem Mäppchen fehlt ist wie im BW Teil stabiler Zwirn und längere stabile Nadel und zumindest 2 Stoffpatches zum reparieren von Hosen,Jacken,Rucksäcken und anderen Ausrüstungsstücken.

NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU MIGHT NEED TO SEW!
Definitely something to keep on hand with some extra needles and some fishing line, glue and bank line. I tend to keep extra small spools of thread on hand along with a small suture needle and thread in the kit. Never know what you might need to sew up, learn how to double stitch and do your suture stitch.
